Welcome

Greetings from the Silver Sage Region of the Porsche Club of America! The Silver Sage Region is proud to have been a part of the National Porsche Club of America since 1966. Our membership includes Porsche enthusiasts from all over southern Idaho and eastern Oregon, with a concentration in the Boise area. Member meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of every month and we invite you to come and join the fun.

Upcoming Events

Monthly board meeting: The Region board's next meeting will be on Tuesday, August 10 at 7 pm, at the home of Bob & Vicki Pentecost, 11079 Hinsdale St. in Boise. All members are welcome.

August event: The August membership meeting is a drive to Arco, Mackey and Challis, ending with an overnight stay in Stanley. See here for more information.

Charity Update

The Silver Sage Board has decided on the club's charity for 2010. Here's President Dave Brown's announcement: "The board has selected the Idaho Foodbank Backpack Program to be this year's Silver Sage charity. I wish we had the resources to help them all as they were all very worthy. We will be glad to put the charity nominations that were not chosen at the top of the list for next year's selection. We hope that everyone will get behind this year's selection to help make our charity events as successfull as they have been in the past. Thank you for your nominations."

Our two big money-raising events will be the Oktoberfast in October and our charity auction in November. More information about our charity efforts this year will be forthcoming. Stay tuned.
