November Meeting:
SPUDS!
Saturday, November 14
Once again Silver Sagers can plan to enjoy well-topped “Good Ol' Idaho Potatoes.” To participate, all you need to do is the following:
- Decide on a potato topping (suggestions: BBQ beef or pork, chicken or turkey ala king, sour cream, butter, cheese, crumbled bacon, mushrooms, broccoli, beef stroganoff, chili, etc.) or a dessert.
- RSVP by Tuesday, November 10, Bob and Vicki at vpentecost@cableone.net or call 377-4244 and tell us what you’d like to bring. (Hint: RSVP early if you want to bring one of the more popular toppings.)
- Show up on Saturday, November 14, at the home of Bob & Vicki Pentecost, 11079 Hinsdale Street, Boise (map). 6:00 p.m. Social time and Dinner. There just might be some “Spud Beer” available and feel free to bring your beverage of choice. Spuds and eating utensils will be provided. The cost will be $5 per person.
- Participate in the “Potato Trivia Quiz” for door prizes. First, let's start with the fundamentals. What exactly is a potato?
