December Silver Sage Monthly Meeting

December 16 - December meeting/Holiday party!

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all. It’s that time of year again to make your plans to attend Silver Sage’s annual Christmas Party. Once again, this gala event will be held at Crane Creek Country Club. We are scheduled for December 16th. Cocktail hour will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:30.

Like last year, we will have both a silent auction and a noisy auction. The auctions will benefit the “Family Advocate Program” here in Idaho. They are an independent, non-profit agency dedicated to helping abused children and strengthening families. Silver Sagers have always had a good showing of donated items for this event, so let's not make this year any different. Look around the house and garage, or wherever, and bring something for the auctions Baked goods are always popular. And bring your checkbooks so you can bid generously!

The dinner menu will feature your choice of the following three entrees:
- Horseradish-crusted salmon, with English cucumber, dill and whole grain mustard
- Pan roasted breast of chicken, with sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives and feta cheese
- Lamb shank, with baby greens, berry vinaigrette, and bread & butter

All meals include salad and dessert. The price for dinner is $33.00 per person. Upon arrival, everyone will receive a drink ticket for one free drink from the bar courtesy of the Silver Sage Region. After that, you’re on your own.

RSVPs must be in by Monday, December 12th, as Crane Creek needs a count for the kitchen. Please RSVP with your meal selection(s) to Walt Thode at 363-9169 or email at wfthode@rmci.net.
