Christmas Party

The Silver Sage Region Christmas party will be held on Saturday, December 20^th, at the Owyhee Plaza Hotel, located at 1109 Main St. in Boise (map). Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m., with dinner starting at 7:00 p.m.

There will be a silent auction before and during dinner, and a live auction beginning at 8:00. For those of you who have not attended a Christmas Party and auction, it is a fun evening and a great way to relax during the busy holiday season. Please bring items to auction; for example, in the past we’ve auctioned off bottles of wine, desserts, poinsettias, gift certificates, posters, Porsche memorabilia and other items that you feel others would appreciate. The winner of the tire raffle will also be drawn during the evening with all proceeds this year going to Terry Reilly Health Services. Remember to bring your auction items and your checkbook or cash.

Two additional reasons to attend: 1. A registration to this year's Porsche Parade, to be held at the Keystone resort in Colorado during the July 4 week, will be given away, a $175 value--you have to be present to win this. 2. The brand new limited edition Silver Sage 2009 Calendar will be available for purchase; net proceeds will be added to the Terry Reilly donation.

You have a choice of one of the following with all meals including salad, fresh vegetables, beverage service, and dessert. All prices include taxes and gratuity and everyone will receive a free beverage ticket.

BROILED TOP SIRLOIN: A tender 10 oz. choice top sirloin served with roasted red potatoes.   $33.00

PACIFIC COAST SALMON: Tender salmon filet, oven broiled, topped with a lime cream sauce and served with a rice pilaf.    $33.00

PASTA PRIMAVERA: A medley of fresh seasonal vegetables cooked and presented with fettuccine pasta, then topped with marinara. $25.00

Also, for those choosing to spend the night downtown, there is a block of rooms being held.  Rooms will be $59 plus applicable taxes. Members who want a room will have to make their own reservations by calling 208-343-4611. When you call, tell them you are with the Porsche Club to receive the discounted room rate.
