Boutique Winery Tour - Up and Coming Gems of the Gem State (Larry Sandusky)

Be one of the first to tour some of Idaho’s smaller, less well-known wineries, along with the award winning Indian Creek Winery!  We’ll meet on Saturday, July 12, at 1:00 PM at Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, near the corner of Meridian Road & Overland Road, across from Roaring Springs Water Park & just off the Meridian Road Exit on Interstate 84.  We’ll hit the road 1:30 PM and take back roads to Kuna and to Indian Creek, then crossing the Snake River at Walter’s Ferry and visit Micelli Vineyards near Given’s Hot Springs, and finally on to Marsing for Davis Creek Vineyards, winding up for dinner at the Sandbar Restaurant in Marsing.    There will be a $2.00 per person fee for tasting at the wineries, because they’re small enough they must hire help and/or rent glassware to serve us.  But just think of how few folks have experienced these undiscovered gems!
