POKER RUN TO CROUCH (Steve Schott)

It’s time to put on your poker face, wash and wax the Porsche, and get ready for a fun day of driving and playing a little poker.

The Poker Run to Crouch is on Saturday, June 9 th. We will meet in the Albertson’s parking lot located at Federal Way and Gowen Rd. at 1:00 pm. We will be hitting the road at 1:30 pm heading through Idaho City, Lowman, Garden Valley, and ending up in Crouch. As this is a Poker Run, we will be making stops along the way to draw cards for our poker hand.

The final stop, and last card, will be at the Longhorn Saloon in Crouch, where we will have dinner. The crew at the Longhorn are preparing us a wonderful barbeque dinner with all the fixin’s, and for our listening and dancing pleasure there will be a live band awaiting us.

After dinner we will determine the best hands in the Poker Run and give out the winnings. After which it’s time to dance the night away.

Several people have also made lodging reservations in the Crouch and Garden Valley area to spend the night. If you are interested, ask Barbara when you RSVP. The Longhorn puts on a great Sunday brunch buffet.
