November 12 - SPUDS

November's meeting is our annual potato feast, and if you haven’t had it you don’t know how good potatoes can be. It will be on Saturday, November 12 from 5:00 to 10:00pm. Dinner will be at 5:30 sharp. We will be at the Two Rivers Lodge, in the Two Rivers subdivision in Eagle, located off Eagle Road between State St. and Chinden. From Eagle Road, turn west onto W. Island Woods Drive (there is a signal light there). Go about a block and a half. The Lodge is on the left side. There is a large parking lot. The address is 261 W. Island Woods Dr.

Lyle Pearson’s Porsche dealership has offered to bring some interesting cars to examine if you can come a little early. One of them will be the latest Carrera 4, but the other will be of great interest to many—the first Boise viewing of
the new Cayman. If you want to see these cars, show up around 4:00, before it gets dark.

This year, SPUDS is again helping the United States Marine Corps with Toys for Tots. The Marines will be there to accept donations of new, unwrapped toys.

The toppings for the SPUDS makes the event special, so contact Steve and Barbara Schott to find out what is needed.
The cost of the evening is $5 per person to cover venue and incidentals expenses. Also, bring your own drink of choice. Alcohol is permitted.
