Trip to Union City September 8-9 (Jan English)

We plan to meet Saturday morning, Sept. 8 at 8:30 at Home Depot on State street and old highway 55. We will leave at 9 sharp and drive back roads between here and Union. Please bring a picnic lunch for a lunch stop at Oxbow Dam. There will be a catered dinner at the hotel that evening. The cost will be $30 per person. The choices for dinner should be called into Jan and Mike by Sept. 1, 375-1884. The choices are prime rib or chicken in wine sauce. We will stay at the Union Hotel and park our cars in the city park next to the hotel. We can use the hotel’s parlor from arrival until 6 p.m. to have a pre-dinner function. We will be allowed to bring our own wine/beer and munchies for that time. At dinner we will have a no-host bar provided by the hotel. If you have not reserved your room, the Union Hotel is a remodeled historical hotel. You can go to www.theunionhotel.com and look at all the fun rooms they have.
