Sun Valley Tour Details (Rex Chandler)
I hope you are going to be joining us for the Sun Valley Tour on Saturday September 6th as we will be driving Highway 21 over and through the Lowman pass and the Stanley Basin. We will be stopping at beautiful Redfish Lake where we will have a gourmet lunch water side, before heading over the Galena Summit to the Wood River Valley.
I’m finalizing food planning for the event and need your meal selections at this time. For those attending the Tour, please click here to email Rex@chandlersboise.com and let me know:
· The number in your party
· Your lunch selection for each person: Roast Turkey or Roast Beef
· Your dinner selection for each person: Beef or Chicken
If you have not yet decided on attending the Tour, it’s not too late, but you need to make your hotel reservations ASAP (see below). If you are planning to join us there are few things you need to know:
Getting Started
Date: Saturday September 6, 2008
Time: Meet 10:00 am, Depart 10:30 am
Meeting Place: Chandlers Steakhouse at Hotel 43, 981 W. Grove Street, Downtown Boise. (between 9th & 10th on Grove click here for map) Coffee and Pastries will be served.
On the Tour
Stops: Pit stops planned approximately 40 miles.
Lunch: 1:30 PM Red Fish Lake Picnic Area, sandwiches, fruit, salad, potato salad, cookies and beverages.
Depart Lake: 3:00
Arrive at hotel in Ketchum: 4:15 PM
Evening Plans
Dinner: 6:30 PM at Chandler’s Restaurant Ketchum. Includes a wine reception and a three course dinner.
Meal Pricing: $40.00 per person for the day
Parking: No need to drive, the restaurant is located next to the Hotel and underground parking is available.
RSVP: with lunch and dinner selections as indicated above
Wine will be included during the reception and additional wine and beer will be available for purchase during dinner service. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to sharing a beautiful day driving our Porsches over the best twisty roads in scenic Idaho.
